We saw the picture of the Onyx bar top - it is gorgeous! I look forward to receiving the rest of the update. Let me know when we get close to planning shipping. Obviously, I need the shipment to come to the Port of Tampa, FL. And the customs people I spoke to here told me that I will need the following paperwork, in English, at least a few weeks before the shipment arrives: 1) Itemized commercial invoice including unit cost 2) Packing list 3) Bill of Lading

We have decided on a customs broker to help us, can you email me the BLL # so I can have my customs guy look into when the shipment will be arriving and where? He wanted to have the original paperwork with at least one week's lead time.

The furniture arrived at the Tampa warehouse on Friday. It cleared Customs this afternoon. The Customs release has been faxed to the warehouse. We already paid the shipping lines $104.59 processing fee and the warehouse here received the shipping lines release last week. This warehouse offers delivery too, so we're awaiting their estimate so we can go ahead and schedule it.
FINAL E-MAIL
I just wanted to let you know that our furniture was delivered this morning and we love it!!! It's all SO gorgeous from the intricate hibiscus carvings, to the gorgeous stone bar top, to the grain in the wood, to the rope border around the seat cushions..... I'm also thrilled with how perfectly they match our hutch. I was concerned with how true the color representation would have been on my pictures sent over the Internet, but it all looks like one set. FYI, for you to share with other customers, the delivery cost about $280, which gets billed to us through our Customs Agent. We've used Sack & Menendez and they've been wonderful. They said that customs didn't check the crates (and we weren't charged for any customs checks), but it sure looked like a couple of them had been opened. They just weren't nearly as intact as some of the others.
