I packed a few clothes thinking it would only be a short stay. Three days later I was on a plane bound for Indonesia still without any word from her. I was imagining all possible scenarios that could come to mind. I had contacted everyone I knew that might be able to help. She had been staying at Daarut Tauhiid in a rental house. I contacted them but they knew nothing. I arrived in Indonesia with no Idea where to begin looking. I took a train from Jakarta to Bandung, which is 3 hours. I decided on the way to Bandung that I would go to Tassikmalaya, a place she had visited often. There is a man there she calls Abba whom is known throughout Indonesia as being spiritually blessed. I got off the train and was hit by the normal offers for a taxi. I talked with one and asked for the best price. I was lucky because he knew of the man I wanted to see. We drove for more than 2 hours to get there. When we arrived I asked the people if they knew of her and had seen her recently. They seemed to not even know her, which is usual. The people in the villages are sometimes not very forth coming with a lot of information. I went to the Massid and prayed. When I came out I went and seen Abba. Abba is a very old man; I think more than 100 years. He had a stroke so he is not able to do much talking or getting around. After I finished meeting him I went back to the taxi. It was then that I met a young student whom gave me some information. He gave me directions to another group of people that had been helping her recover. I went there and he told me she was at the Massid Daarut Tauhiid again. I arrived there after the sunset prayer and was glad to find her. She was very weak from not eating and had lost so much weight. She had lost everything she owned to the good proclaimed to be Muslims that were helping her overcome her illness. When I found her she only had a plastic bags of a few clothes. Her depression had led her to a state of distrust and to the point of becoming physically ill. I remember walking down the street holding her and all of a sudden she started accusing me of not being her husband. She was completely paranoid of everything.
