In October 2001 I was sent to Thailand to assist with the installation of some systems there at the new plant they had just completed building. This was arranged mostly at my request. It was known that I had not seen Teti and Tiara for a long time. I talked to management and asked for permission that Teti stay at the hotel with me.
I arranged for Teti and Tiara to meet me there. We had to pay $200.00 for Tiaras overstay before they would let them leave Indonesia. I waited the first day at the airport but they had been delayed. I was nerve racked to see them and was worried about their trip to Thailand. Finally the next day I met them both in the airport. While they were in Thailand we got a different type of visa for Tiara so she would not have to leave the country every two months.
The project had me scheduled there for one month. I also scheduled some vacation following the project to visit Indonesia. We normally finished the work around 5 in the afternoon and I did not have to work the weekends. Teti and I ate at the free meals that came with the room to keep down the cost. A few times some of my fellow workers also picked up the tab for our dinner.
We had fun going out shopping at night. We even took in some of the sex shows that populate the Patpong area one night. Teti had never seen anything like it and felt sorry for those women whom were slaves just to provide enough money to buy food for their families. The month went by very fast and we went together back to Indonesia.
